CyberPanel Installation on AlmaLinux 9

 

How to Install CyberPanel on AlmaLinux 9 ? 

 

CyberPanel is a fast and modern hosting control panel. You can easily manage your websites by installing CyberPanel on AlmaLinux 9.

 

 

System Requirements

 

  • AlmaLinux 9 (64-bit)

  • Minimum 1 CPU, 1 GB RAM (recommended: 2 GB+ RAM)

  • Root user access

  • A fresh server setup

 

1. Update the System

 

First, update all packages on your server.

sudo dnf update -y

 

 

2. Install Required Packages

 

Some basic packages are needed for the CyberPanel installation.

sudo dnf install -y wget curl

 

3. Download the CyberPanel Installation Script

 

Download the installation script and make it executable.

cd /usr/local/src
wget https://cyberpanel.net/install.sh
chmod +x install.sh

 

4. Start the CyberPanel Installation

 

Run the installation script to begin installing CyberPanel.

sh install.sh

 

After the command starts, you will be presented with a series of options. Choose "1" to install CyberPanel.
You will also be asked to select between LiteSpeed Enterprise and OpenLiteSpeed. OpenLiteSpeed is the free option.

 

5. After Installation

 

Once the installation is complete, you can access CyberPanel via:

https://your-server-ip:8090

 

Default login credentials:

  • Username: admin

  • Password: If you set a password during installation, use it. If not, use the system-generated password.

 

To reset your admin password, you can use:

adminPass

 

Tips

 

  • Make sure port 8090 is open on your server.

  • It is recommended to reboot your server after the installation.
